Killer cop versus cop killer.

I like most all Jason Statham movies and my wife just loves Jason Statham.  We picked this one as it was relatively short and he rarely fails to deliver.  In fact, I don’t think he has ever failed to do so.  While this movie was fairly decent, albeit a tired storyline, it failed to deliver on one thing that we took for granted – action.  Of course, I do believe Statham can act within his own stereotypical role, I did not expect there to be such a lack of action.  Statham movies should have a minimal requirement for ass-kicking.  It’s expected.

So, while reading that tagline up at the top, it may be a little misleading.  That is what the story is about, but it’s more of a cat and mouse chase than anything else.  It’s still a good movie and well worth watching, but check your expectations first.  I guess I should have checked the genre list…action is absent there also.
