Revenge gets ugly.

I had never heard of Jonah Hex, or the cult comic book that bore his name before this movie was released.  I put off watching it for a long time as the IMDb ratings kind of put me off on it.  However, it was pushing 10pm last night and I wasn’t in the mood for a TV series and this movie came in at about 80 minutes worth of runtime.  My wife thought it looked decent enough to give it a go, so we started it.

All I can really say is that it was no better or worse than I expected.  I expected very little and, while I was not presently surprised, I was also not disappointed.  It wasn’t good, but it wasn’t terrible either.  It was short and I didn’t feel I wasted the time I set aside to watch something for.  The acting wasn’t amateurish, the story was new (to me), the action sequences were acceptable, and it was just a decent time-wasting flick.  I can’t compare it to the comics, so I won’t.  If you are a fan of them and hate this movie, I won’t argue with you.
