How to be cool.

Another movie adaptation from a series of books that I’ve never read.  Typical, I guess.  We tried this out on our family movie night last weekend and it was a pretty big hit.  I think I probably enjoyed it more than anyone.

It’s your basic “trying to fit in” story which many of you know well about.  However, it either ends up being a taken-for-granted memory, or is a nightmare forever embedded in your soul.  Anyway, in this story, Greg Heffley is the kid trying to fit in and it just doesn’t work out too well for him.  Most by his own doing and the rest is just really crappy circumstance.  In the end, it’s really a story about friendship.

The movie is funny and familiar, regardless of what things were like when you went to school.  I can recommend this one with ease and hope my kids will want to read these books soon.
