The Naked Prey
Stripped, turned loose like a wild beast … a manhunt of indescribable terror and screaming suspense!
I’ve had this one in my collection for a long time and I don’t really remember where I saw the recommendation to see it at. There are no character names used in this film and there is very little dialogue…most of it is from the natives and even that is another language with about half of it subtitled. Fortunately, you don’t really need to know what they’re saying most of the time. The film is very visual and relies on that to lead you to the end.
There is a little bit of cheesiness to it, but hey, it’s nearly 50 years old. Get past the red paint used for blood and a little bit of forced acting and you’ll find a very good use of your 90+ minutes. It’s a terrifically suspenseful adventure film.
